Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist, humanitarian, and an armed scout and spy for the United States Army during the American Civil War and started off her life as a slave. She escaped and went back to help save family and friends

The Underground railroad is a way slaves escaped to Canada it was used for both black and whites also it was used in the United States

Spiritual are a way that Tubman signaled the other slaves to help them escape.

QUESTIONS

What is the slave trade triangle?
- The slave trade is a way slaves met each other before.
Where was the first passage?
- the first passage was from Europe to Africa,
the cargo carried guns and other weapons.
Where was the middle passage?
- slaves were taken to the Caribbean and sold,
 they were trade for a ship load of tobacco and cotton.
Where was the third passage ?
- after all the cotton and tobacco are put on the ship
 they go back to Europe and sell them,
 after they're sold more guns and weapons are purchased
