Aim: to demonstrate the effect of anaerobic respiration
Equipment:a spring-loaded peg
Method:
- hold the peg as shown in the diagram
- relax your finger so that the peg closes all the way
- squeeze your thump and forefinger so the peg is fully open
- repeat steps 2 and 3 as quickly as you can until you experience muscle fatigue
